Childhood Issues
When working with childhood issues I largely use the concepts of Transactional Analysis and DNMS. Childhood wounds are frequently based upon attachment wounds such as parental rejection and neglect, complex trauma wounds such as physical, verbal or sexual abuse.

It is frequent that where developmental needs weren’t met the client is likely to remain stuck in childhood feelings, thoughts and behaviour.
Both Transactional Analysis and DNMS make use of Ego State Therapy and focus upon a decontamination of introjected ego states and a healing of maladaptive introjects (frequently parental, societal, religious). Such healing results in clients becoming unstuck and experiencing significant benefits such as a diminishing of painful emotion , beliefs and unwanted behaviours.
